Lakeside Commons | Oswego Student Housing

Lakeside commons has been the best living experience of my college career. It’s absolutely incredible. You get your own bathroom, all updated appliances, you can pick your roomies and even have pets!!! I have met some of my best friends here and I get to live with my cat! It’s super close to campus and they have a shuttle that takes you to and from campus if you don’t have a car! Highly recommend for any college student who doesn’t want to live in the dorms and wants a more luxury living experience!!

I’ve lived here for more than a year now and it is definitely one of the best ways to live off campus! It’s super close so it’s easy to get back and forth to class- with a shuttle provided that travels on campus (as well as to Walmart on Sundays.) There is a clubhouse that you can use for recreational time with their pool table and various items as well as a space to study and work academically. There is a public fire place outside that is a great place to make friends and grill! The gym in the clubhouse is open for use 24/7 and is a clean and comfortable environment for the residents to get fit! Inside of the apartments it has a clean modern look that just feels like home. Every room has their own bathroom and closet space. As well as a fully furnished apartment for when you just feel like relaxing at home! When asked where someone should stay off campus the first thing that always comes to mind is, Lakeside commons!

recently had an unfortunate experience with lakeside commons, and I feel it's important to share my concerns with others considering this place as their future home. During my lease term, everything seemed relatively fine. However, upon moving out, I was shocked to discover a series of hidden fees that were not clearly outlined in the lease agreement. I was also charged for a paint job, however the paint was not even scratched. Keep in mind they kept the deposit money. As someone who values honesty and integrity, I strongly advise potential tenants to thoroughly review their lease agreement and ask for complete clarity on any potential fees before signing. Don't make the same mistake I did by blindly trusting them. Take the time to explore other options that prioritize transparency and honest communication with their residents. In conclusion, my experience with [lake side commons ] has been extremely disappointing due to their hidden fees and lack of accountability. I hope that by sharing my story, I can prevent others from falling into the same situation.

This is my second semester here at lakeside commons, and so far it has been a great living environment. Last semester, I had very little problems with my apartment and when I did put in a work order, it was addressed within a couple days. I often recommend lakeside commons to friends that are looking for off campus housing because of the benefits they offer.

The staff at Lakeside were very welcoming and a joy to work with. Veronica made it so easy to organize a tour and was so informative. My daughter loves living at Lakeside Commons. Her apartment is roomy and she has all the privacy a young lady needs as she tackles her goals in Oswego. Thanks again Veronica for helping us make her transition into college life so flawless.
